Top 3 Unique Roadside Attractions

central,washington,color,home,page | Top 3 Unique Roadside Attractions

1. Whimsical Wheelbarrow Tower

Amongst the trees you can find a stack of rusty wheelbarrows towering over you. Built on the Ristine's family property, what began as a small collection of old wheelbarrows has turned into a unique roadside attraction that you don't want to miss. Pull off the road and take a picture with this unique structure. The Whimsical Wheelbarrow Tower can be found off SR903 at 704 West 2nd St in Cle Elum, right across from the US Forest Service and Cle Elum City Park.

2. Tire Rim Statue

This hidden gem serves as a great photo op. Take a moment to appreciate this quirky feat of engineering and design. Pat Merritt, the creator of the Tire Rim Statue, welded over 50 rims together to create this eccentric masterpiece. The Tire Rim Statue can be found at 2561 off of SR970, just east of Cle Elum.

3. Dick and Jane's Spot

Dick and Jane's Spot is a unique display of art. Home to Dick and Jane, this display features over 40 Northwest artists in their front yard. The Spot has been a work in progress for over 35 years and the bright colors and quirky sculptures are sure to bring a smile to your face. Please respect their fences and enjoy the art at a respectful distance (remember this is their home.)
